So the big project I wanted to get done is now finished! So like most of my projects this summer I'll post the pictures and explain all the work I put into it. So before I do that, let me show you the before photo's so that by comparison you can see how far the kitchen came! So here's the before photo's. As you can see in the first picture the Wallpaper

was not cute, and it made the kitchen look very small and closed off. Then there was the curtains, they were kinda broken and didn't close very well and were just old. So anyway my mamma helped me get all the wall paper off...so then the kitchen was just pinkish white and gross like in the last picture. SO there you

have it the pre-painting pictures. Now for the painting parts. So I covered the glass cupboard with newspaper and tapped up the ceiling. Now the color is a nice sandy orangeish brown, or cinnamon brown as the paint was called. What was nice is it only took me one evening to get the painting done, which included white primer and then two coats of the brown. So that made the next day go quite quick and easy. So the next pictures are all the decorating pictures. They were the most fun to do and really pulled the kitchen together!

So I the first picture is of the

finished project. I made the curtains, It was quite exciting actually I went to look at material at walmart and just my luck they were having a HUGE sale on material so I got the fabric 10 dollars for 10 yards, it was AWESOME! Then there is the awesome seaside painting the amazing Jess Wallace painted. It really pulls the kitcehn together not gonna lie. So anyway in the next picture you see the stools I got to go with the table...10 bucks each at Ross. It was quite the deal. Anyway so there is that vase, It's so amazingly perfect for my kitchen. Then of course there was the flowers I got to put in it, which completes the look I do believe. Then I finished the little cubby spot on the side, I got the little potted palm tree arrangement for 6 dollars, Walmart is great! Then the cupboard, it's glass so I was trying to think of what to do with it, so I got those green glasses at walmart 50 cents each, then I got the green plates behind it at DI for 50 cents each. Alright then I made a centerpiece, it was really simple just took a plain decorative bowl filled with white sand, seashells and then some tea lights and BAM! Instant centerpiece. Anyway I enjoyed doing this project it was a good deal of fun! Well thanks for humoring me.
